The distinguished guests of the Consular Corps of Greece have enjoyed the sunny Sunday morning of April 1^st, participating at the event «Pas de poisson d 'Avril». This event is organized every year on this day, based on an old French custom dating since the 16th century.

The event took place on board of S / C PANORAMA, a courtesy of Variety Cruises and the Honorary Consul of Chili in Crete Mrs Jina Mamidaki owner of Hotel Blue chain. Moored in the picturesque Marina of Zea in Piraeus, the luxurious yacht hosted Members of Corps, Ambassadors, Diplomats and Honorary Consuls who had the opportunity to enjoy a meal aboard overlooking the magnificent view of the Saronic Gulf.

During lunch, the attendees enjoyed a  successful “poisson d’ avril” joke by the President Mrs. Terina Armenakis –Kalogeropoulou and had the opportunity to exchange views on various social and international current issues and taking strong portions of ...sea ​​breeze.

At their departure they expressed their will to attend the next event to be organized by the Greek Consular Corps, as they said the Corps gives them the opportunity to make very pleasant and enjoyable breaks from their duties, meet colleagues in a relaxed environment and especially discover the beautiful parts of Greece.
